PLEASE NOTE: This mount only works with a Colt or GI rear sight dovetail.  This is the dovetail that is used with the standard military type rear sight with just a notch cut.  If you have any adjustable type sight, or more enhanced fixed rear sight such as a Novak or Heine, this will not fit. If you have a question as to fitting, please contact our technical department and provide the brand and model of your 1911.
